I recently purchased four Bolivian Rams. I absolutely love them; they have so much character. They're so hard to sex and the fish salesman had a hard time getting my requested 1 male to 3 females. ...

I have Hornwort and yes as Korith stated, the base rotted on me as well and most of it floated to the top where it does great!

Thank you very much Byron, for your time and research. I really appreciate it. I have not seen Prime in our 1 1/2 fish stores locally. So, I'll look for it online.
I shook until I could shake no more. Here are the results
I use Marineland Aquarium conditioner. It came with the tank.
Make that *Hornwort
I did another partial change early this morning, and nine hours later:
1. Nitrate: 0
2. Nitrite: 0.5 (yayy)
The fish are genuinely happy. So, I'll continue with the...
Am new to the hobby and trying to understand the "water chemistry" phenomenon. I live in Yuma, AZ and we have a-lot of minerals in our water.
Am 6-7 weeks into having a 20-gallon tank and after...
Thanks for all the warm welcomes! I am aging water now to do a big water exchange tomorrow, though I figured between 20-30%, perhaps by reading I need to do more. I found a dead fish from the first...
I recently started a 20-gallon about 6 weeks ago after being out of the hobby for years. So much has changed and I'm trying to learn all that I can before diving back into the passion...
