are you saying that the jd is too big? the cat and all except 2 cons are going to be gotten rid of.

maybe im crazy but 2 8 inch fish in a 55g sounds empty to me. and i know my current stocking is crappy, but the fish are fine at the moment.

the cons are almost docile but i could always ditch all the cons.

currently my tank is stocked with a 8in channel cat, like 20 or so convicts, three jds and a pleco. once i eliminate most of the convicts a jd and the cat i intend to get a third sp. so just thow me...

is there any thing else i could put in this tank?

if your talking about an oscar then you should know that any oscar under 2 inchs is a baby and should be feed baby cichlid foods. veggies are good for larger (4 inchs and up) oscars but not for small...
