I have had a problem with my kribs too...... They have had fry two times before now (still have 30 29f/ 1m), and the female has laid eggs 3-4 times since then and eaten them everytime.......

Could you not make another top for it 2" longer, then just place it on the desk (on top of the original) and put a list round it so you can't see the edge of the original ?

Could I use a branch from a silver birch in my aquarium ?
I have been thinking about going down to the local river to find a branch for the aquarium, some thing that has fallen into the water, ...

And this is one of the fry now.

I haven't been able to get any shots of the new fry, But I have an old and new pic of the first fry... Will try and get some of the new ones though..

I had the same problem last week with my 240L, temp up at 29-30c...
I ended up changing upto 50L a day to try and keep the temp down And turned the lights off on the tank. Now they come on for 2...

It's not a great picture, but it looks like a danio, but the stripes are not there.

Second time now, I still have 11 fry from the first time (born on the 22nd of April). The fry have hatched today and are tiny little things d;o)

The fry are now 5 weeks old and I still have 11.
I have just taken them out of the community tank (tonight) and put them in the Danio fry tank.
