id say some more venustus in the proper ratios(add like 9 females) or maybe go for an all male peacock/hap tank. Could look amazing when completed.

If you can find them, I would recommend bulbs in the 6500k to 6700k range. You might experience algae problems with bulbs in the 10k range.

Oh my gosh yes, these fish are just amazing. So much personality. Mine literally acts like a dog. A stubborn dog, but dog nonetheless.

I would definitely seed the new filters with pre-colonized media from the old filters if possible. This just helps avoid a longer cycle when the new filters are cycling. You will have another cycle...
