Thanks. The progress will be much slower than my last journal due to school, but I will do whatever I can to make progress. My goal is to be 99% finished by the end of next summer. The other 1% being...

I think they're really fascinating as well.
I'll do what is necessary to keep them.

If not as bad, it's even more difficult lol.
I actually forgot to mention that I have a 6" galaxy pleco, but he would probably be too big for this tank lol.
I thought it was a bit larger.
It's around 12" by 14" by 12" I think but I guess a full size dwarf pigmy at 1.2" might be just a little too large.
Only bottom feeders I can think of that would...
Id go with the fluval ebi, just because I've had it for about 2 years and it's worked out great.
It can grow java moss, anubias, java fern, and even sword plants like amazon swords if it has the...
+1 to steeler about fish "growing out together"
It's a much better idea than adding neons or cardinals when you already have large angels. A lot of angelfish will adapt to the temperament of their...

Oh wow! I should go for this one also lol!
The more plecos I find, the easier it will be for me to find one I like when the time comes to getting one.

It actually has an area under it that I could turn into a cave.
It was my plan from the beginning, really. To have a piece of driftwood that could serve as a cave, while being able to attach anubias...

Looked up more plecos, found one called a "King Tiger Pleco" l333.The black&white variety looks really nice.
Gonna add that one to the list of possible plecos.

Here's the DW.

Got the full co2 system, sand, and the centerpiece driftwood.
Just about everything is ready. No plants yet, and no centerpiece rock, but other than that, it's just about all ready.
Larger tanks are always the best. More fish, more options, more money to spend... oh wait

1. Yeah, jumping fish are definitely an issue. What could be done is getting a glass border around the sides... Though it wouldn't be easy.
2. I was thinking of attaching the driftwood to the...

There's actually been an extreme algae outbreak(I really don't know why, but it's moving anyways) in the 3.65, so the snail has been able to eat.
I'll probably put it in another tank while the 5.5...

I'll be working on getting the tank ready all day today. Might add water today, but if not today it will be in a week unless something comes up.
I also forgot to add on a cool way to use...

I'm usually pretty good when it comes to putting territory in a tank. Though, is it a good idea to get all male-female pairs, or to try to get one specific gender?
I've already kept Siamese algae...

Really nice looking fish.
Three lined pencilfish are already decided, and adding these shouldn't hurt if it's in a 125 gallon is what I'm hoping.
Any tetra that gets above 1 1/2" should be fine with angels.
Whatever you're doing, you're doing it right.
Really nice job of keeping 8 clown loaches. Like already pointed out, be prepared for when the day comes that they need a larger tank.
How big is your tank and what do you currently have with it?

I agree about the ruby tetras. I have seen mixed opinions on whether or not SAEs are aggressive when in groups, but you know, this choice could be made after I have them for some time. Coral reds...

Featherfin would get way too huge for a peaceful community, but upside down catfish might be a really decent addition. I'm not sure how they would like softer water, but it's definitely worth...

Tank is on, and already have the black backing. Progress is being made, driftwood should be ready soon.

Online they range from $100-$160 on one website. There's an LFS I can get them for $200 from. $500-$700 sounds like what you would pay for a female zebra pleco.
I don't have much of an issue with...
