Update..

Well the female ram unexpectedly died a month ago which left me discouraged with this tank because it took me awhile to finally get a pair and have them spawn.

welp i took the shrimps out and put them in a 10 gallon temporarily..hopefully there will be no stress for the rams now.

Round 2 of eggs and once again they did it in the substrate and half are already eaten...there are plenty of slate pieces for them to breed on...i think these guys just prefer to dig.
