Going to a vet is not a bad idea for dog food, because you are not asking them about the brand, but the ingredients. Your dog food may look the same and be low in grain but if your food is missing...

There really is not much of a difference besides a few vitamins/minerals that your dog may need for proper nutrition. I don't know enough to say for sure but the B.J. food lacks dicalcium phosphate...
