aye i know, sponge filters im talking about are the number fives i have that are separate from the canister. ya jsut connect them to air hose:)

i mainly keep the spnge filter in my aged water so it doesnt stay stagnant and just add the starter stuff to dechlorinate. i guess airstone would be jsut as good.

but to ask another question...

lady hobbs, so do you keep water cycling in the hospital tank at all times? (so it doesnt get stagnant) then put sponge filter in it when you move your fish in there?

how long does it take to...

are you supposed to keep your hospital tank running at all times? and should you put fish in it? will it stay established with just tank start up stuff? and what kind of filter do you use?
