To be honest I was amazed I managed to rescue the eggs at all! I will look into a breeder net. Im off to find some shrimp later as I finally feel happy adding some to the tank woohoo!

Well the tiny little buggers easily swam out of the breeder box lol so they are at the mercy of the other fish. Its fairly heavily planted so who knows, they may survive!

I now have 6 eggs in the breeder net as luckily they laid them on a plastic tube so it was a case of drop the entire tube in there lol

Well....found the culprits...if you watch very carefully during the spawning behaviour..at around 25 seconds you actually see her drop an egg over the fern!

Oh lol...bsaically all the eggs look very similar........CPD eggs look identical to cory eggs. I will admit thats where the blue eyes and the CPDs tend to do their spawning behaivour. Its one egg...

Thats a pond snail. Pretty good algae eaters but def a pest snail. When they get bigger they have an almost translucent shell. Pretty to look at but reproduce so bloody fast.

Did a 40% WC as I will do one again this evening. Nitrates are barely there but its def not sky blue. The fish all look happy and I cannot see any dead fish anywhere or rotten food etc.
