Everyday I am replanting one or two of the Vals, Cannot wait for the roots to find themselves again. Doesn't take long but the Skunks do not help by digging up sand everywhere. And my BNP's whipping...
Recently rearranged the tank and added a few things. Two plants and two Skunk Cories.
Going to mention that I have not seen any more Skunk Cory for sale near me and these were the only...
Hope there is another like last time, where their was actually two.
Is funny to watch when they get to the point of accepting flake food, they are so alert incase another fish think the fry is...
Not done much lately with my tank, except purchasing some more sand and putting it in. Is now about half an inch to an inch in some places, deep.
Hair algae is still finding new places to grow on....
Very nice tank. May I ask what species of cory do you have?
Just saw today in my LFS some Agassizi.
They look so nice. Been thinking of Dwarf Cichlid's. Like Super Blue Rams I have seen in the same store.
Agassizi after reading on them a bit, wow, the...
Here, so far after briefly looking at them in supermarkets they are sold in packs of 8 or more. Been getting cucumbers because they are cheap, portion sized, and a nice treat for me too. Only waste...
Stinky water is not always a sign of bad water condition.
And agree with Slappy with hair algae. Either that or something much minor I think. Is it much furrier and whiter in person then the...
Need to remember when you say Zucchini you mean Courgettes. Will try to see if I can find small bags of them. Best bet for that would be a local shop I hope.
Not able to keep frozen foods. No...
regularly feeding the BN's cucumber now. They love it.
Ford the Whiptail seems happy on green spot algae that forms up on the glass. Just hope I can find a way to get more protein in to Ford's diet....
They are sure nice to watch. Sadly not had the chance to see one eat a pond snail though.
Counted about 40. Have not counted the ones in the roots of the Nana, I have no clue where to start. Too many eggs, too many roots.
Now, lets count that in money. £5 per assassin x lets say 60 =...
Just noticed a bunch of small things on my Anubian Nana. Sadly, every fish wanted to play block the camera. managed to find some more on a Java Fern, that has never done to well till recently.
They have only had 4-5 hours light per day. That is the thing that's surprised me. 2-3 inches of growth from such little light.
Could be that the plants just love rooting in to sand, and feel more secure.
I did notice they root more then they do in a gravel substrate.
Lots of growth. :)
I am in the same boat as you Slap. About to upload a picture of my tank now.
Cloud and Ford
Silver, Cloud and a wandering Kerri.
One of a male Diamond. Not the best glittery ones, but I think he is the Alpha at the moment.
Gorgeous tank. Doesn't look like as many Vals as my tank.
Mine have sent runners of nearly everywhere in the middle. And creeping in to silly places.
Your tank is lush :)
Just spotted some mistakes, I missed one word too, hate it when you have three words starting with the same two letters.
"an annoyance announce's itself." and the obvious "their"
A Lion sees things like this most of the time. And when it is not in the mood it would completely ignore ther world around it unless a threat or an announce presents itself.
Fighting over a wafer. Is most of the Lemons, Diamonds and Silver (Angel).
A diamond. Took about 10 just to get one shoot. They are not photo friendly.
What do you think I...
My 10G smells stinky if the waterline is being disturbed or has been disturbed.
My 30G on the other hand smells fresh like being near a waterfall. Guess it has good oxygenation.
This poor guy go sucked in to my syphon today. Looks like he's spent some time sunbathing, evidenced by hair algae on him.
I really like it now. It looks like it has two natural borders separating the Water Wisteria from the central planted area.
Knew what I wanted to do on the left, making it a long slope down with the...
