Yeah thats why I was only going to stock one on its own. Most sites say a 5g is the minimum for a group so I figure one on its own would be ok in a 2.5g. I can't get a hold of females anyway.

Really? I know several people who recommend them for nano tanks. Sometimes I think SeriouslyFish.com can be a bit conservative.

Been considering another new setup. It's a little 2.5g that my friend has lying around and I really like it.
Was thinking of using a tiny nano heater which is preset to 25C, some small filter...

LOL, forgot to mention...
My dad was doing a spring clean and found THESE hiding away. Although I can't find expiry dates they must be at least 20 years old. Kind of fishkeeping antiques!!

Im the same on airstones... I feel like it is sacrilege to put one in a tropical tank but I can stand it in a GF tank.

With the black phantoms, the big males are pretty but they all hang out right down the bottom with the cories around the bottom of the plants and under the driftwood. I don't even seem to see them!...
Or if you can get them Sunset Minnows would look great. Their gold colours would work great with your rainbows and they should stay at the top like WCMM do.
Looking great Jenn! I think cards will look great in there. I just got 30 for my 120g and im really enjoying them. Have you considered white cloud minnows for your top dwellers? I have 20 in my 60g...
I assume those measurements are in cm, you may need to convert them for the old-fashioned folk here who still use imperial. :hmm3grin2orange:
What is the diameter of the tank?
Also you said to...

Thanks everyone for the lovely feedback on my 60g!! I will do a proper photo update on that in a while, when the plants aren't looking as sad. I've been really lazy with my dosing. And yes I'm pretty...

Does anyone else have any experience with Bronze Cories? I am curious because they are techically the same species as Albinos, I am hoping they have the same...

Wow thanks for the warning gesp! Yikes. I'll contact the breeder I'm getting them off and ask about how he keeps them etc. Hopefully a 5ft tank will provide plenty of room for her to escape him!
I am just wondering if anyone has any experience with some species of cory being more active than others? I ask because I had Pandas once and they were all over the tank darting around playing and...

No idea. Its just the standard light on my Juwel Rio 400. But I think my tank is quite old, I am at least the 3rd owner, so I'm not sure if they are they same lights the rios come with now or an...

I never tried to grow plants in this tank before because I always assumed it had crap lighting. The guy I bought it off said he could never get plants to grow which made me assume it had bad lights...

Thanks steeler! I also quite like the phantoms. Although a couple are very small and dont have great colours yet.
