We all know to wash up before putting our hands in the tank. How do we do it?

I use plain hot water. If my mitts are so dirty they need some GoJo or Lava, I wash up like that...

I voted "Yes". We have several PetSmarts and PetCos around here. The PetSmarts are a better than the PetCos. Neither are bad. All of them put one LFS to shame. Heck, a mud puddle full of dead leeches...

Oh heck, my fish do that all the time. It's really cool when the scorpions start flying around the tank on the tarantulas.
