    i think it was buried in sand at the LFS i have...

    i think it was buried in sand at the LFS
    i have since pulled it apart a bit and elastic banded it to driftwood with the roots and rhizome showing. is it likely the leaves will bounce back?

    sudden betta death

    hey
    well my good ol betta passed away last night very suddenly.
    he was fine day before last, but yesterday was listless and frequently(more than usual) sucking air from the surface.

  16. i have had my filter media for over 6 months...

    i have had my filter media for over 6 months occasionally rinsing the media in tank water and everything is fine for me.

    if you throw old media and chuck in a new one the bacteria has to regrow....

    garlic question

    hi

    I hear of feeding finely chopped garlic to fish.

    It doesn't have to be fresh garlic does it? can it be diced garlic in a jar?
    if so does soaking pellets/granules etc in some of teh diced...
