So the burrowing is just going through the motions and I have both variations of spike bristles. Oh well.
And don't complain too much on the leaf, LOL, was taken with a phone from back of tank,...

I'm really unhappy with these pics, but it's the best I could manage with what I had for a camera at this time. Like I said, their skittish ones today.

Given these skittish ones--it will be a chore to be sure :11:
Please don't use my suggestion, cause don't like the singer. But was thinking Axel Rose.
Love the color and fins thumbs2:
It's a maturity thing. Also maybe a male or female thing.
How long is this one?
Mine started showing maturity at 2-3"

Agreed. In my past exp., I've saved about 1/4 - 1/2 the water in 5 gal buckets, just to keep the bio-filter fed, when I put the tank back together. That way is like a large 75-50% wc. 250' is no...

So I've had these two BN's for this last year. They appear to be in the 4" range and have developed nicely. Both have great personalities and from the beginning I've enjoyed them growing.
Haven't witnessed a Snail Assassination yet, but do see him shoaling with the Cory Cat squad under the sunken rock bridge. I do see a few empty MTS shells, but do not know if my few Assassin Snails...
Way too many names!!! LOL. Got an interesting habit in mine. It likes to use the dead Apple Snail Shell as it's den. Was worried yesterday and searched all areas I could think and thought it dead....
I echo the above advice. From my exp. I have had fairly easy luck on pairing GBRs. Though while experimenting to see if a male would mate with two females I discovered some interesting things. 1. the...
Been about 24 hours and now it seems this little one has teamed up with my Cory Cats to form a pseudo school. Hoping to add at least 1-2 more of these as the shop gets them in. But with being 20.00 a...
Was wondering if anyone has had experience with this fella eating any kind of snail?
Just picked up one (shop only gets them in 1 at a time--slow seller).
Welcome to the AC

They explore tanks. Mine goes all over the tank eventually. But his main hangout is any area at the top, near the glass that has plants near it.
Here's the tank mate list I was speaking about:
Tia's Tank Mate List Link
If you save one, you encourage the business (chain store) to buy more to put into cups.
But if your sure you want one, there is a list made up by a Betta master here on this forum. I forget her...
Lemons would be ok on their own. Wouldn't want to overcrowd though and wouldn't add Betta into mix. Not much will work with Betta and each and every Betta is different. It's always a hit and miss...
Sorry to hear about all that. Hope all goes well. The huge storage tote is a fine backup in case of emergencies.
I'm currently keeping in my 10g:
1 male betta
7 H. Rasbora
3 Cory Cats
No issues yet from this set up, but is heavy planted and many hiding places. Betta usually stays to the top, all others...

Good bye Maria.

Been a long while since I last updated this blog.
Well, have had a couple of events. 3 days ago, my Apple Snails left a little gift at the top rear of the tank.
They make all mine look plain :ssuprised: even the horned one I got.
Poll: Here's my tally.
Here's my tally.
