I'd be fine with that price.
Oh and I actually have 2 female 2 male Boesemanis myself.
I'm sure it doesn't make a huge difference, but I kinda actually like the female Boesemanis. They are...

Honestly whatever I can get my hands on. If there's 4 males, I'll get them, if it's 2 m/2 f I'll get them. If the price is above $20 each, I'll get 2 at a time.

I had seen these guys at an LFS
Wanted them so bad but I couldn't afford a group of them at $30 each
Just too much.

Figured as much.
Would you reccomend I get 4 red rainbows, or 2. They will be in the 125g with 4 Boesemanis as well.

Generally, it's do you want a fish tank with plants or a planted tank with fish? And you're right here. But it's still possible to have both if you don't go extreme on the plants.
I myself didn't...

There's a lot that can go wrong with co2, and it really would be a huge change on your fish that could end up in a few losses if you aren't extremely careful.
Personally, I think you should stay...

I second this, my Boesemanis took about 6 months to get a decent amount of color. The next 6 months is the test.

Thanks. This is probably my favorite tank that I have. I'm soon going to redo my 55 gallon into a loach tank, which may come close to how much i enjoy this one, but there's just so much going on is...

My god you have a bunch of healthy and beautiful fish. And you are keeping German blue rams. Just amazing.

Rainbows would surely be my first choice, and I'm not worried about them getting to food first if I'm not keeping a bunch.
I guess if my rainbows aren't huge for now, there's no worries, it's...

Oh, and to those wondering about the stocking.
If there are any comments on the stocking itself, please post it on the...

I'm nearly finished completely with this tank, just need to top off the cory numbers and add some loaches at the bottom and I'll be done, but I think I could adjust what I currently have.

Exact Stocking, the last one may have been slightly inaccurate...
9 Espei Rasboras
13 marbled hatchets
9 three lined pencilfish
10 ember tetras

I addressed the question to one of the most knowledgable LFS workers I know, and there's nothing to worry about. Just me being overly concerned. The "spots" aren't even on the pleco anymore and it's...
Yeah, I've been in this situation as well, just browsing through PetSmart and seeing someone get the wrong fish for their tank.
Part of the reason I don't visit PetSmart anymore, because half of...
Angels do wonderful in a planted tank til they get what I call the "snap". Pretty much from when your fish goes from nice to "Im going to chase everything in my way". You definitely want all...

Well, don't tell me guys lol.
I removed my BN because it pushed around the Queen a bit, and it only leads to complete and utter aggression, something I've dealt with in the past.
Either way, this...
I wouldn't mess with a large school of a slightly larger tetra. I would stick with 2 large smaller schools, but stable school of 6-8 larger schoolers(Diamonds, Congos, or Boesemanis), OR you could...
Perfect. Honestly, the espei Rasboras are probably a better choice than the rummynose, and they are awesome looking as well.
I like your thinking, but you could up the clown numbers to 6 or 7, and you want at least 10-15 cories, preferably more if the cories and the clowns will be your only bottom feeders.
Also, I don't...
Just one will either be shy or aggressive, but more than one is a different story. Remember, these are labyrinth fish, like bettas. Male bettas normally fight to the death.
I once purchased 2 small gouramis with my current gourami in my 55 and they outgrew it and bullied it. Really odd.
But gouramis get more aggressive as they age, I am going to have to disagree here...

Pleco is acting normal but he looks a bit odd
My l201 was covered in these light patches when I bought it(this was a year ago) and its completely solid in color, but I've never seen this...
That's one nice piece of DW. Looks just awesome.
The rainbows, like I said, get large for a 55, and it would be better to stick to a smaller species that doesn't reach more than 3". Mine are already almost too large and I am rehoming them in the...
