Hi,
One of my male fancy guppies developed red specks all along the edge of his tail. He is in a quarantine tank and I am treating him with Rid-Ich but the red specks are not going away.
Any ideas...

I also have a 10 gallon and I have 3 dwarf red wag platies, 4 fancy guppies and 2 zebra danios, they are all getting along great and it makes for a beautiful and lively aquarium. Best of luck!

Scissortail Rasboras are beautiful, relativley inexpensive and nearly always remain at the top of one's aqaurium. Check them out.

I think I am going to give it a try but be very observant and immediately take the Danios out if I see any signs of agression. Thank you for the advice =)

Okay, thank you all for the advice.
Now that we have established that I would need at least a few (close to 6) danios, do you think 6 guppies, 3 platies and 6 danios would work? I have been thinking...

I bought two CFLs that only use 13 watts but put out 60 watts by Sylvania from my local hardware store and they are working wonderfully! Thank you again for the advice :)
