there is currently no airline into the tank and the intake is fully submerged. The waterline is abour 4 inches from the top and all lines are above the top of the pump.

apparently its a common problem with the canisters- they crack when you open them to clean them. I have tried to glue the cracks and it seems ok but i may try the vaselline idea. Ultimatly, i'd...
