Hey guys, I switched on my tank light this morning and to my horror 2 or 3 of my leafy plants had holes all over the leaves, some leaves ripped off.

Yesterday was the off day, where I didn't feed...

My neons don't sit together in a large school and are often seen floating around with the other fish no problems.

Without fail I do see a lot of the Platy's with long stringy bits of waste hanging...

I have 10 neons at the moment.

5 platy's

I could imagine with 20 extra poop factories I could overload my filters... regardless, I can see 30 neons looking pretty damn awesome.

How do you get the cucumber to sink??

Well today I did the big project of changing my substrate to sand. Wish I wore gloves because my hands are just so water logged.

Anyway, now that the substrate is sand I don't know how a lake...

So I've been toying with a bit of an idea recently. My mum has a bridge ornament which she's had for 25 odd years and I would like to help compliment that so it stands out.

I have a hang on Eheim filter, what I did was cut the filter sponge in half and use a different media; 50/50. They're some sort of small, brown balls? I don't have a clue.

I figured out what pleco I have and it's the Bristlenose Pleco, I was told it doesn't grow large at all....

I was told he won't grow large at all. Forgot what measurements he gave me, I doubt it changes much but he was cheap too, I paid $13 for him compared to the other pleco he had in stock which he said...

Me being the noob I am I didn't consider the large number of fish which come under 'algae eater'. I just have a common pleco.
