What about API co2 booster?

So I have a 55g with two 46" 54w t5 bulbs. Three clumps of Amazon swords, two anubias and about six small stems of compacta. Do I need co2 injection??

So I just got a co2 injection kit and haven't set it up yet. It's for my 55. I've got anubias, amazon swords and compacts. Any tips? Bubble count??

+1 to everything above. The beneficial bacteria grow mostly in the filter media and replacing a filter with brand new media pretty much starts the cycle all over again

I have dwarf platys with my black skirt tetras in my 55. They don't bother them at all

A school of blood fin or rummynose tetras would be cool

For bala sharks you need at LEAST 121 centimeters (4ft) .they get about 30 centimeters each

It's only about two feet? Way too small for bala sharks. You sure it's 60 gallons?

Glass is generally clearer than acrylic. But it is also heavier. Acrylic scratches easier than glass and is more expensive. They both have pros and cons it is just a matter of preference
