So I have a 55g with two 46" 54w t5 bulbs. Three clumps of Amazon swords, two anubias and about six small stems of compacta. Do I need co2 injection??

co2 injector question.

+1 to everything above. The beneficial bacteria grow mostly in the filter media and replacing a filter with brand new media pretty much starts the cycle all over again

Glass is generally clearer than acrylic. But it is also heavier. Acrylic scratches easier than glass and is more expensive. They both have pros and cons it is just a matter of preference
