I may as well see this through...
Hubby went and bought a paint sprayer. It was over $200. He used it...on the 6 X 6 ceiling to put on the 2nd coat. It worked, but it's the wrong kind of...
Another casualty of painting...my favourite shower caddy (EVER!) has ceased to exist...
Hubby is off to buy another gallon of paint...and a sprayer for the ceiling....
For a 6X6 room. :help:
And another quirk.
Our ensuite bathroom is two rooms. One room holds the shower and toilet. The other room holds the sink and my closet.
The shower/toilet room badly needs minor repair and...
You made me cry.

We are hazy today...the smoke from your fire has made it this far east!
It was on the news this morning...

I would hate to have that running over me...no matter how safe.
You're very brave!

Keeping my fingers crossed for you!
We had weeks of forest fires burning North of us. Personally, we weren't in any danger, but the heavy smoke was quite bad. Most of us could feel scratchy throats at the very least...those with...

I hope it is all okay?

That is so scary. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you!
Oh is THAT what it is?
You are being much kinder than me...
I could give some of it to the chicken. We only have one left.
When we had the little flock it was easier to get rid of things like this...
But I want time to fix the coop and disinfect...
We don't have a food processor. I have never even used one. But, I do know what they look like! :D
And I'm not going to buy one just to make bread crumbs...which I rarely use too...lol. But it...
I don't like it when:
Hubby buys himself a loaf of bread...that he loves...and the rest of us will eat, but we really don't like this bread, so we don't think to eat if he's not eating it first...
Thank you for saving that snake! That was good of you!
And congrats on your additions! Even the rats!
Rats make the best small rodent pet IMO. I am always dissapointed that I am allergic to...
That's too bad! :(
...and tonight's entertainment. ..from the $5 bin:
The Nut Job
Again...crappy reviews - but it was totally fine albeit average. Great animation, appealing visuals. I liked the characters. A...
I will try not to forget!
I have just completed my "supposed to be annual" break down and scrub of the 4 parrot cages...and toys...and walls behind the cages...
I haul the cages...
Hubby likes movies. We go to the theatre in spurts...I have him watching some series too...but he likes to binge so they don't last long.
And we buy the odd DVD. Some full-price...and odd ones...
Well...we knew it wouldn't be good...so we braced ourselves. ..and it wasn't that bad. Somehow the slapstick didn't quite work. Maybe it was the soundtrack...but we were entertained...
So did I! :D Now I need to wait until we have our Internet connection back. Can't manage from my phone!
We have 8 horses still...all getting older like me. I think the oldest is about 35...only...
It took 10 years of thought...4 hours of labour...and $20 in materials ...
And I finally have a hitching post by the back door.
Why do I have a hitching post by the back 42141door?
Mad Max; Fury Road: Dunno...maybe I am just too old for this genre. It wasn't awful - just more same old... I would give it a 6.5. Not sure why it is rated 9.8/8.8...
Very good! Worth seeing. Personally I found some of the characters a little too visually unappealing. ..but that's my issue...
I love the Carl books...but my kids did not. And there are no words.
The boys both loved Animorphs (one is a reader and the other is not - so that says a lot). Both also loved the Brian Jauques...
