I would like to apologize to anyone reading for blowing up there. I have no problems with being told I'm wrong. It's just the arrogance and rudeness isn't necessary.

Yeah I know... I figured with so few fish it won't be too big of an issue. They're the last ones until the arch is done. I was kind of thinking about digging out some of my old Legos and throwing...

Update time... Ok so this weekend I got a bit of time to work on my arch. The foam that I used had such good "rock" shapes, from multiple batches of foam, already so I figured why fight it and used...

On the net I found a few people that did 3d backgrounds by using blocks of foam and carving then coating them. I figured I had this foam already and its more strong structurally and I'm not relying...

Ok well update time. I'm sure you guys will be happy to hear that I have decided that I am holding off on rays for this tank. I am planning a huge salt water tank in my basement that I think I will...
I did pick up a water kit yesterday because I started cycling the big tank. I do have well water so that why I haven't bothered with a dechlorinator.
Honestly I have never really done anything with this tank other than adding more water when its getting a little low. And I toss one of those ph tablets in once every couple weeks. Its been running...

Waters in... I'm waiting on it to warm up before doing to much more (may have to go with a bigger heater.) I'm hoping some of the bacteria survived from when the tank was taken down a couple weeks...
Heck I bet you could even just set up a bunch of jars outside and get mosquitos to breed in the jars. Then just grab a jar with a bunch of them and strain the water through your net...

Thanks for the advise. Yes the stand is getting a safety chain on each corner at the top as well as me having a chat with the little one as to acceptable behavior (this one will be right up there...

Oh that ebay company has everything! I will for sure check that out. Oh no there is no way at all I would try to cycle with rays. I don't even plan on having them in the next say 6 months give/take....

Thanks for the advise. I really don't mean to come off as an ass but to be fair I did warn you that any advice given was welcome and would be promptly disreguarded  I will definitely check out...

Hi all. I have recently purchased "my" first tank, its a 130gal (72x18x24.) The plan is to stick with freshwater in this tank and maybe go up in size and to salt once I feel comfortable maintaining...
Thanks! Yeah all the little guys in the tank seam more than happy, but I do think I'll be moving at least the shark to the new tank once its up and running since he's up to about 4" right now.
