yeah these guys have to be able to reach the top of the water to breath.....they are not a total aquatic frog.....since they are blind it takes them longer to find their food they locate it by smell...

Ok so from what I have read about these great little algae eaters is that there usually isnt enough of the algae they eat in a tank to keep them fed and that you should suppliment with algae...

Well really they would do much better in the 10 gallon...they really are not very good swimmers and it takes alot of effort for them to get to the surface in a 55 gallon..! my ADF is in a 5 hex...

yeah I like the one on the left! yeah the danios are really fast and man are they active ! maybe the long fin version gold colored that would be pretty!

I have hornwart in my betta tank...it floats around no planting nessicary ...dand I am a bad speller! watcht the mystery snail with that frog they love the slime on the frogs skin and will bother...

Ok so I was reading another thread and someone mentioned that they "take the charcoal out of there filters" ..? and also that it isnt really needed unless your removing meds or some chemicals? so...

I have the exact same tank...got one male betta and a dwarf frog....and one ghost shrimp for some clean up...the betta and frog have been togather for a while they are good buds seem to be happy...

ok i will get pictures...I really think it's because he is soooo young maybe once he gets bigger it could be different story...but for right now she really is the more pushy one in the relationship!...

yeah they are togather have no problems what-so-ever! anyway she is a very light rosey color so her belly looks kind of opague looking maybe ? hard to say really she looked less bloated last night...
