Yeah exactly. Im expecting to end up with 200+ of all the shrimp I get, lol
Its really fun to watch them eat in a huge bunch
Care to explain further...? I mean its going to end up as the same thing eventually, I guess lol
Still waiting on the layout of the stand...
Sadly, it probably wont be done before the Christmas break is over ):
But Im going to do all I possibly can to get a good start on it once it is finished.
I dont think it would hurt to eventually add a school of small top-dwellers...
Do you have an idea of what the final stocking will be?
This is looking amazing so far! Great job! Cant wait to see the final product!
And feeding time lol
Awesome! Totally looking foreward to seeing this develop.
Love the DW too.
What kind of substrate is that?
WOW what was I thinking.
"it's fins are way more orange than a GOLD NUGGET'S"****, not a goldie
Its a goldie pleco. Im positive. And its my fault for confusing you :imsorry:
Not necessarily a bad thing. Since youre going with a school of top, mid, and bottom feeders, this works well.
My first reccomendation is having at least a 30 gallon filter because you want a...
These pictures are a very small portion of the 10 gallon cherry shrimp tank I have... I think ill put in a big algae wafer and see how many I can get in 1 picture.
Not sure about the same air pump, sounds effecient though. Ill have to check out the idea because it could save some serious time and effort.
As for the 10 gallons, Ill just keep my eye out for the...
For real! Cheapest ive ever seen any "fancy" shrimp at an LFS was $6, and the cherries alone are always like $4!!! Better off ordering them online! I would sell ny cherries for like 50 cents each...
As much as I wouldnt mind it being a gold nugget, it's fins are way more orange than a goldie's. Ive seen it better in person, but pictures are a different story. That one was taken at night.
Best picture I could get.
He/she's really grown.
Talked to the guy who will build it today, he is going to give me a layout soon.
I have also decided to put the 20g longs/non 10 gallon tanks at the top. It will be designed for 6 10 gallons, 3...
I will power them via air pump.
Thanks for the advice!
Thanks a bunch! I'll try my best not to disappoint thumbs2:
Appreciate it, Gar!
Well, heres the picture of where I want it, which is the left of the 125g to the wall.
Doing that would certainly be nice, but I really just need to find out what all...
Thanks for the advice Boundava!
1&2- Yes, I should definitely ensure that. In this case, having the 20 gallon longs at the top is probably my best bet, as they will require more maintenence and...
Hey everyone, its been nearly a while since I've used this forum, but with the start of a new project, I could definitely use the advice of some credible aquarists!
Ive been wanting to do...
Scratch that, I dont have the time to do this in 2 and a half years before Im off );
But ill figure out something ideal for him.
Possibly it had just been eating too much?
It doesnt seem to be bloated from that angle, it just seems very bulky, which is what loaches tend to do when they near their maximum length(for yo-yos...
Hes nearing 5 inches now, looking beautiful. I will try to provide pics soon.
Plans for the future? Im hoping to soon get a 200g so I can put all 3 of my large plecos in the same tank...

And then theres the rare blue-eyed panaque thumbs2:
Seriously, this dude has been for sale at an LFS for like 2 years,
he costs $900. But its an amazing pleco, I'll give it that
