Hello...I got a new 20gal tank sometime ago...I was wondering if I could put around 5 rosy barbs in the tank?
I think I have a betta, who thinks hes a guppy...XD
I have him with three fancy guppies, they get along fine...:D
I wouldnt recommend you doing that, it really depends on the bettas character...
Both are swimming fine too...
The tanks been running for about 5 months...I bought the fish a month ago from the lfs...
Sorry, I cant provide a better pic at this time as I cant find my camera...
The swelling is...
I found out that both of my honey gouramis have a transparent looking swelling near the end of their tails...
I have specified the area in the pics...
Any ideas on what this is?
My honey gouramis are really peacefull, never had opaline before...but they do look amazing! :)

Amazing fish :18:
I have 5 males, my 6 year old brother chose them...XD
They do get agressive, provide some plants and a few hiding places and they should be fine...:D

I returned 3 goldfishes once, I was starting out, I didnt really know that goldfish required atleast 20 gallons, I put each of them in a 22gal bucket, the LFS was happy to take them off my hands...
I need help sexing one of my honey gourami's, I am fairly positive it is a 'He', I just need to make sure...:)
Sorry for crappy phone pics, I seem to have misplaced my camera...
Hmm...I read somewhere Dwarf Gouramis are quite susceptible to disease...
You could go with honey gouramis...or I think a pearl gourami, depending on the footprint of your tank...
Or, a better...
I have kept a single goldfish in a 20 gal bucket...you should be fine if you have filtration, however I would not recommend this as a permanent setup...
I would say your tank is pretty overstocked as it is right now...
I wouldnt add more fish...
Hmm...I might consider getting the rasboras then...XD
I kinda figured...:)
Thanks alot! :)
I have heard cherry barbs are quite peaceful by nature...never tried keeping them though...so, i would like some more opinions! :)
Many people suggested barbs on the previous board...:P
Having said that, the lfs is out of barbs and I wouldnt mind waiting...
I recently bought a honey gourami for my 20 gal high planted tank...:)
Previously i decided, I was going to get some cherry barbs and panda cories...
I called up my LFS today...they didnt have...
I absolutely love the pics...:)
I had a great time reading your posts...:)

Got a honey gourami for my 20 gal yesterday!
The most interesting of fish...:)
Pretty nice looking tank! :)
I live in pakistan...:D
I have a good LFS...the guy who owns the place is very knowledgeable...
I hope your fish get better soon!
Get fluke tabs from the LFS...I am sure you will get rid of the flukes...
Praziquantel, may also be used in extreme cases...
Thanks I will!
I have notified my LFS, they will call me when they have stock...:)
Meanwhile, I have to go to my cousins to get some plants...:D
I meant honey gourami...XD:14:
I was researching on Pearl gouramis...kinda wrote that instead of the honey gourami...:P
