i've never not had my rainbows with dark gravel. i have black ecocomplete gravel and a black background, and i've always gotten compliments on the coloration of my fish.:22:

they look like female G. incisus/G. pseudoincisus to me. depending on how big they max out, it will be either species (incisus being much larger than pseudo).
