Just bought a XP3. What would you all recommend for the media? Its about 180g., moderately planted and having trouble with green spot algae.

Im guessing that my current infestation of snails came in on some plants i ordered. Can anyone recommend a fish that will eat the snails and be suitable for a 180g community tank?

Yeah it was custom made for somebody else. Found it on craigslist for about $300. It's made of 1/2" acryllic.
