I feed them cichlid pellets.... it was one huge bubble with redness on the outside.... so I decided to just add peas to their diet to prevent this in the future.

I was thinking about the mess canned spinach would make. I once tried feeding them fresh spinach... they didn't want anything to do with it.

LH.... why tear down the tank? Why not just do extra water changes until it (the parameters) stabilize? If a fish died, eventually the water's going to stabilize with the water changes right?
