What are some Tangs I should consider keeping in a 220L 4ft?

Bolivians are quite tuff, though I havent lost a Blue Ram either. In my 4ft I have both, and I think the blue ram is a better fish.

you can expect an average of 5" full grown, give or take.

I dunno about convicts being of the less aggressive cichlids, when they breed they are savage, I've seen them hand an oscar and other 8"+ cichlids a whooping.

Yoyos (pakistani) loaches will eat away your snail problems pretty quickly. I have a couple, and even drop in a few small snails from time to time, just so the yoyos can eat them.

my yoyos are about 2 inches long, they dont touch my smallest shrimp yet, which are about 5mm long i guess.

From what Ive researched they are pretty much the most peceful cichlid, bar the dwarfs. as mentioned they are omnivorous, but generally if something will fit in its mouth, thats where itll end up.

An easy fix would be to just add a new male/female or 2 every month or 2 wouldnt it?

could always ask a lfs for credit if you bring in a big pleco... just dont tell em where you got it from
