Anubias and java furn are the best to use with oscar`s.
Tie to rock`s and wood, but of corse the Oscar will rip them and try to move them, just because there new to the tank.... So don`t give up...

I will say it`s because you just plantèd them....Give them time to settle in.

I always had SAE`s with my Òscar`s, worked out really good as long as the SAE`s are big enough.
just what worked for me.

If you do go with a bristle nose pleco have some/ one nice pease of wood for him.( I just love them, damn good workers )

As for Angel`s and Tiger Barbs...NO....Tiger Barbs are known for nipping and the Angel`s won`t stand a chance.
