First: I actually moved it for a while to the bottom of my tank. It was there for a while and then started to turn white. As condition, I would say not too much light nor heavy flow.

Actually no "coral" was around it, that were my live rocks.
After about 3 weeks the Green Star Polyp coral is not opened up yet.
Since few days ago parts of the coral turned white...

I have been experiencing the same problem, missing fish.
Many reasons could be.
In my case, the fish could die in hideouts such as inside a hole, behind surfaces which won't be easy to spot.

As I said I had 4 fishes (ie clown, damsel, fire gobby) disappear.
I was suspecting they somehow slide between my custom made background decor and the glass, get stuck there!...

I bought Green Star Polyp and torch coral this weekend.
When I got home both were closed. The torch opened on the same day.
Maybe two polyps emerging from green star polyp but later closed, now...
Would someone share some insight about his/her purchase experience about this online store (fragalot.ca)
About quality, size and how they got their coral, any bad experience, etc.

While ago my Green Chromis disappeared! and just few days ago my Clown fish dispersal (He was there 3 hour later missing).
Tank is covered. I checked inside my return box, inside the sump, inside...
You may need to leave the trap inside the tank for sometime so they get used to it. Try not to feed them and leave the food inside the trap to encourage them get into it.
I would set my priority...
Make a DIY trap:
Get a family sized plastic drink (those coke or soda bottles).
Cut the tip on the cone anywhere to make a whole as large your fish.
Then make another cut from where the cone...

Clarification about UV; I hope that I need to rely less on phosphate remover to control algae considering UV denature floating organism; however I guess still bio-film of algae over time could form...
If I'm not mistaken all these [phosphate/ammmonia/nitrate/ etc] removers are substituted when system can not catch up in natural filtration. So if system is established well there should be no need...
