Wow you mean I can relax & Enjoy watching the Fish? That's a new one these days for me. ;-)

After 5 days since last 50% WC & then adding 11 Fish 4 days ago, Numbers still look good on all Tests except PH. PH is 8.3. Should I be concerned? If so, how do I lower it & make it a bit more Acidic?
Thanks RiverGirl. So far so good. Looks like everyone is getting along.
The Male Swordtail I have must be young. He's pretty mild mannered and does not chase the Females.
I have been wanting to give my Beta Live Food, but Sword Babies wasn't what I had in mind. ;-)
Well that's out then. Can't put 6 Catfish in. What other Catfish would be good on his own and with my current fish community?
With my Beta, that's 12 Fish Total. I think I'm done other than a Cory Cat.
Yes, I have heard. Not to sound Pessimistic but, Let's just see if they live first. Worse come to worse, I'll scoop out the babies & give to my Local Fish Store.
Went Fish Shopping, got 4 Cherry Barbs. 4 Neons, 2 Female and 1Male swordtail. Thanks for the advice on the Cherry Barbs. They are really nice. What other Tetras are Peaceful?

What about PH? Mine is a bit on the High Side. 8.1 - 8.2.
Is this a safe number?
This is some of the Fish my Local Fish Store stock:
Golden tinfoil barbs
Brilliant Rose Bora
Cherry & golden barbs
Have to look up Flame Tetras. Neons & Cardinals I like. Zebras or Danios?
I may try Guppies again.
They were in a Tank that was not fully Cycled, so that's why they died.
I like Guppies Also...
Lots of Tetras available. Black Tetras, Serpae, etc...
But in my experience, Tetras have always been Fin nippers.
Don't want my Beta to be nipped at, especially at night with the lights off. I...
I have one Beta Male in a 20 Gallon High. All Cycled. Looking for some Hardy Fish to get Along with my Beta. Other than Guppies and Mollies. Thanks. It seems hard to find. Especially since the...

No Gouramis heh? At this rate, I think my Beta is going to have a lonely life. I can't seem to find any fish I like that are available to me to keep with my Beta.either they are fin nippers or they...

Funny the misinformation and differences of opinion online. I just read an entire article on fin rot and it is a 10 day cure with Salt in a bowl. :-). Ok, no Salt. Hr's back in the Tank. Did a 70%...

What's the deal with Aquarium Salt? As far as I remember my Dad used it to heal sick Fish. Will it help the Beta? Should I put Salt in the Tank? I am going to take your advice and put him back in the...

No fish yet. Have my eye on 2 small Dwarf Reddish Gouramis. But not sure. In the meantime my Beta has Tail or Fin Rot. Must have been from before my Tank was Cycled. I have him back in a bowl with...

Some very useful Information mommy1. Thanks. I did my first 50% WC yesterday. My Beta Fish could not be happier. He's in a cycled tank & he has the entire 20 Gallons to himself.
I went yesterday...

Ok. This week I'm going Fish Shopping. It could be just a small Catfish to start out with.
It seems the Siamese Beta does not get along with most Fish Breeds that are readily available.
