If you can't get another tank then a fry catcher is handy. You can get different sizes.

Did more research this weekend and discovered that if your PH is 6.0 that nitrifying bacteria is completely inhibited. Meaning that it cannot grow in a PH of 6.0.

Yes, I do know all that. But please keep in mind that because my PH is at 6.0, the TOXIC ammonia level in the tank is close to zero. The test doesn't distinguish between ammonia and ammonium....
