Looks awesome! What kind of plant is that in the middle? I read some of your first posts and couldn't find the name of it. It certainly has flourished since you first put it in!
Thanks for all your input/help Mizzou :-) I'll go in there tonight and ask if they've had a lot of returns recently and then wait it out before I attempt to bring home any more cory.
I do weekly 25% water changes. And yeah, I have a gravel vacuum that I use each time I change the water.
Yeah, I'm using the liquid test, not the strips.
And I think I will look into a QT tank. I bought these Cory from the same PetSmart so they could have been a bad batch.
That's got to be the...
My tank is cycled. I've had it up and running for over a year with all of the same fish. I'm only recently having trouble with the cories.
I have 0 nitrite, 0 ammonia and my nitrates are at 5-10...
Awe, well thanks! I just want to do what's best for my fish :-)
Unfortunately, I'm back at square one cause I had two more cories pass last night and my water parameters are very very ideal :-(...
Okay, so my nitrates went up a little bit when I got home. So I picked up another filter last night, a nice 400gph HOB one and now I have that in there with my other one.
I also did a PWC last...
Ah okay, that makes sense cause I know I need an additional filter regardless of my nitrate level so I'll pick one up tonight. Thanks for your insight :)
And yeah, I still haven't noticed my barbs...

Okay, so after getting the Liquid Master Test and doing a 50% water change this morning, my nitrite is at 0 ppm, my ammonia is at 0 ppm and my nitrates are between 5 and 10 ppm. So I'll do another...
Yeah, I ran out my ammonia tests so I need to grab some more today after work, I'll pick up that Liquid Master Test as well. Thanks for the suggestion :22:
I'll verify that my water is stable and...
I lost my pleco last week :( So I thought I would try out a new bottom feeder and went for some green corys.
On Monday, I bought 3 to see how they would do before I added more. Unfortunately, one...
Awesome, thanks for the advice!
My current filter is meant for up to 80 gallons so I didn't realize it was minimal :) I've been wanting to get a new filter anyways.
After more filtration, you recommend bumping up the tetra and...
I change 1/3 of the water every week.
As for the filter, I forget the brand but it's similar to a Marineland Emporer 400
And I had more guppies but sadly only one survived past the first week...
I currently have a 65 gallon fresh water tank with the following companions living there:
3 dalmation mollies
5 black skirt tetras
5 sunburst wag platty
5 red wag platty
