The power went off for four hours. I turned off the CO2 and checked all the parameters. They were all good.

There are a ton of factors that can cause problems with plants

I don't know if it is the only factor here but across my tanks with high light setups if I increase the quantity of iron in the water then the plants show off more of these red and yellow colours.

That would be one hellava trip for some water [emoji23].
