I have a Cory Schwartzi with a red sore right on the base of the fin near gills,anybody have any ideas please,what ever it is the cat is swimming around with the others just fine,in fact it doesnt...

Just really wanted to know when i should be replacing the white fine filter or just rinse out in tank water,thanks for the reply.

Can anyone help ,i need to know the correct way to clean the filter and replace pads .any help would be great,as i dont want to cause any problems.
