Adagio molted! He looks more like a real tarantula and less like a little tick. I just fed him because he looked skinny. After he's had a chance to digest, I'll take pics to share!

Wow! That is one gravid female! Do the females get grumpy when they get that big? ...I know I did! :hmm3grin2orange:

It generally says "lifespan of 3 years" but that is because the number of molts a spider goes through in a life time are not fixed- it varies depending on species, sex and environmental conditions.

@ leaveittoweaver: ExoTerra makes a great product for reptiles, amphibians and arthropods :D Do you have a light/hood? If so, what sort of bulb did you put in? I've been thinking about putting one on...
