If you want to keep your QT tank cycled make sure you feed it with an ammonia source.

The AC50 came today! Its a lot smaller than I expected, much smaller than my AC300, but man does it put out a lot of water.

Not to hijack a thread but it is related. Do you take water from the top, bottom, or middle when doing tests? I usually do the bottom because that is where my fish spend the majority of their time.

That's a great find! I'm jealous. Depending on what type of turtle was in the tank you should be fine. I personally keep an aquatic turtle with my fish. Just do the usual used tank cleaning procedure.
