Not a clue. The bigger one is a parent of the two smaller ones. So I guess "like father, like son" applies in this case. It's kind of disappointing that they're so docile and hide all the time. ...

I'd shy away from a dragonet for your first marine tank. I'd keep it simple with a clown goby and a damsel or a pair of clowns.

I love flowerhorns. Can't believe I forgot about them.

The JDs are complete scaredy cats. Two are about 4-5 inches, the other is 7-8 inches. They all hide about 80% of the time there isn't food...

    150 Gallon Stocking

I'm getting a 150 gallon (6 foot) soon. I have my ideas as far as stock goes. Just wanted to get some more opinions on them.

    Fish that I already have:
    3 Jack Dempseys
    1 Spotted Raphael Catfish...

Make it have a 5 gallon water capacity.
    Integrate a filter into it.
Make chamber for one of slim heaters somewhere, so those who need a heater can add one.
Make the water capacity 5 gallons....

Live rock is live rock. "High quality" most likely means you're paying for the shape or coraline algae on it. Both of those are visual, and don't effect the "performance" of the rock. On a 29g...

I'm usually ready to be flamed for every almost every post on other forums. Flame wars are an hourly occurance, I love it. On here, it's not like that.

I Think Our Mods Are Lazy

I've noticed at least 2 new topics that are about aquariums in the chatterbox. I think the mods are getting a bit lazy. I don't see what's so difficult about moving them.

Buenos Aires tetras are amongst my favorites. Yes, they are very active. Mine never bothered any other fish though. Not even tiny guppy fry. I doubt they have anything to do with your neons dying.

I've had both. Both were hard to go grow, 2.6wpg and no co2. Neither grew fast at all.

A 20g long is too small for silver dollars and they'll just eat almost any plant you put in there.
