Thanks for replying.
No this is my quarantine tank, I have him on medication for now, currently I have added an Anti-Bacterial and a stress remover.
He is one of the quietest Aro's I have had, he rarely jumps and I have...

This link gives a contradictory explanation that it may be caused when the Aro panics, which seems to be my case.
Well then adding Anti-Parasitic medicines would be pointless isn't it.

The contents of the medicine eludes me too, there is no chemical composition written on the bottle, it just says Paracidol - FW, Its says it can be used for Sleeping disease, White spot, Anchor worm...

My Silver Aro is currently at 18 inches and he has been displaying erratic behavior for the past two days.
I had asked one of the LFS guys to check my other tank and in the mean time my friend had...
I agree but if he stays with me I might be able to consider housing him to a 8 foot tank in future, if I sell him I am sure he will end up in a 20 Gal somewhere.
And a 8 - 10 foot tank would be the...
Just for the record, here's my Aro.
Precisely, anyway after I sell him let me tell you the fate of most Arowanas in India, he is going to grow to 3 feet and end up getting housed in a 5 or 6 feet tank on display in some shop or hotel....
Certainly but who really bothers to buy a 80 feet tank, mostly people max out at 8 or 12.
Nope I will be selling him off once he gets bigger by say another 10 cm, but I can't guarantee that the person I sell to will make adequate housing for him.
Because there is no such thing as...
There is no such thing as adequate housing for a 4 feet fish.
Arowana's are mostly kept alone, they have no reproductive behavior, they can eat only what you give, and they have restricted space no...
Ultimately I will have to sell him off, as there is no other option, I live on the 5th floor and there is no way one can fit a 8 foot or larger tank into an elevator.
