Well if it works well for you guys then just maybe it will work well for me. I just thought that if my Sink was on a higher level than my Fish Tank, I would get no suction or too little suction.But...

First Dose Added 3/18 (Someone on here suggested my Photo looked like it was only 1ppm, so I added a bit more Ammonia immediately)
3/25 7 Days Later Still at about 1.5ppm (in the...

I have an idea. How about if I Turn the Cold Water on half way or a quarter way on? Would there really be that much water that the sink would overflow?
I will only find out these things by buying &...

I guess I stand corrected Silbar. Sorry about that. But I still can't see there being adequate suction if both my sink and the bottom of the Tank are at the same height. Normal suction works on...

Oh that is disappointing. I know for sure with the water running there is much better suction. That's what I was looking for. I already have a Python syphon that does what you're explaining. So the...

No. The suction depends on the Water coming out of the Faucet to create the suction. So if you shut the sink faucet water off, there would no longer be any other suction.
Watch the video I posted...

Silbar, depends upon your sink. On most sinks there is a small piece you need to unscrew and leave off in order for the Python to connect to the sink. You could leave this piece off your sink but...

slaphappy, now YOUR a mind reader. I thought about that after I posted. It should work perfectly. My only concerns are because it's a small Bathroom sink.
1. I hope the entire plastic piece going...

I have one in the Kitchen. It's a Moen. But I know for a fact the front screen does not come off, so there is no way on that.
Then the sink in my 2nd Bathroom is real close and it has an unscrew...

Count me in on one it won't work on. On all my sinks in the house it won't work on. There is one sink in the Garage but it is too far away. I'd probably need a 50 Footer.

So, I'm on my 2nd Tank & looking for an easier way to do Water Changes.
I am currently Using the Bucket Method .5 Gallon Buckets treated with Prime for Refills.

@ Silbar!!! Great!
So I got the replacement Heater. Works great. Accurate to the degree.
I too was a hater & one of the last to hold out. But I love Technology, as I repair both Mac & PC for a living.
But the phone has never been my thing.cJust last year I had a Flip Phone Virgin...
If your referring to the Heaters, Yes! See Here: http://www.cpsc.gov/en/Recalls/2011/Aquarium-Heaters-Recalled-by-United-Pet-Group-Due-to-Fire-and-Laceration-Hazards/
The iPhone was not Recalled but...
It would not matter. I think they want them gone & out of people's hands. There were houses burned down from these heaters & people injured.
I have bought many things 2nd hand & got them repaired...
yea call between 7:30 & 5 PM Eastern Standard Time. They will ask you questions like when & where you bought it and they will send a shipping label to send the old one back. But they immediately send...

I always run at least 2X the amount of Filtration that is needed, just to be sure the water is not stagnant and is kept clean.
So I have 2- HOB's in the old 30 Gallon Tank & each one is rated for a...

03-20-2015, 02:22 AM
I use to at night. But I have been forgetting lately. I know. It's a lot of moving water. My Beta probably hates me for it, but he goes with the flow (Pun Intended). I'm a Bubbler fan. The more the...

The pictures I have are not very good. From my iPhone. But you asked for it & you got it!

Ok. So I'm actually excited now. I'm taking my time, since I don't have the finances to do it all at once anyway. Thanks for the as usual, Pat On the Back, slaphappy.
Btw, My other tank has been...
