A frontosa is too big. There is a dafodile bichardi and albino, all would get along. If you want to try something different, try the goby cichlids (spathodis erethodon and eretmodus cynostiktus....

The solution for a small leak you've had is a new o-ring. All canisters need the main o-ring change every 1 to 1 1/2 years too be safe.
