My tap water PH is 8.4-8.8 right now...

i have a 10 gal tank with 2 goldfish and a 30g with 12 neon tetra in it right now. They are still alive so hmmm.... if this very high ph is stable is that...

I'm about 2 or 3 weeks into a fishless cycle, i dosed to about 2-3 ppm of ammonia. i got nitrites for 1 day at a very low reading and then they went down to zero which was weird while ammonia stayed...

i just tested again and the nitrites are gone?????

Originally i put in 4 teaspoons which put the ammonia levels off the chart. Then almost a week after i took someones advice on here at did a 50% water change which did bring it down abit to around...

I just took your advice and Wow! The white stuff is making the plant so weak its actually breaking it down, i pulled on one of the parts of the plant and it pulled right off from the stem. The same...

Its spreading even more

ive also noticed a strange growth of this white goopy kind of stuff on one of my fake plants. i really have no idea what it is but its spreading all over the plant.

Thanks alot everyone... I'll check out the columbian tetras and i realy hope i can use either neons or cardinals with the angel but i've heard that the angels aggressiveness towards them really just...

alright thanks alot, i might also give cardinal tetras a try since they are a little bigger than the neons so hopefully the angel wont be affected by them.
