I think my friend made a big mistake - he got a honey and a dwarf and they are already attacking one another - darting at each other and running up behind each ofther and all this kinda thing.
Strange. Ive had a male dwarf gouramis and both within two weeks of being purchased began creating bubble nests and getting terrorial. My aunties did exactly the same without any females present.
since i had my own dramas with dwarf gouramis (as in constant spawning and attacking all my other aquarium inhabitants endlessly) , my friend has decided not to get them for his tank.
Hey guys. Would I be right in assuming this is fin rot? Or just a wound from unknown origins (these guys can speed around so it wouldnt be too surprising) thanks

The guy at the store just said that if he's aggressive now, hell just look for new targets if the females go.
Maybe i should think about honey gouramis - ive heard these are peaceful.

We have had a lovely community tank for a little while with no problems other than the occasional disappearing neon tetra.
We took out time to decide on a gourami and eventually chose the Dwarf...
