A tank will not tip from being uneven, (unless your placing your tank on a hill side) that's not why you need it level. If the tank is uneven it will cause leaks and cause you a lot of problems. I'm...

At what point should I put in the angler?

Ok so i guess ill do a mated pair of tomato clowns or cinnamon clowns second last right before the flame angel. What do you think I should put in first?

so how exactly does a quarantine tank work??

from what i think i understand you just throw the fish into the un-cycled tank (after acclimating).
And then i guess you just do a bunch of water...
