How I got started with aquariums.:

When I was a kid the local shoe repair/fish&bird seller started trading me leaky 10G tanks for live minnows from the local creeks.

Favorite fish:

Who doesn't love Neons?

Fish I have bred:

bred Oscars in 1973, then lost them the day after birth along with 6 other tanks in a big flood.

Why I like fish::

Serenity and the marvel of watching an interactive community of creatures.

Best advice:

Use water quality standards as a guideline. Don't sweat it 24/7 but know it and rely on it esp. when trouble hits the tank.

Other pets:

Camellia, Basset Fauve De Bretagne and Domino,Boston 6 (daughter's dog).
