About Me:

My name is Kristy and my boyfriend and I are interested in starting a saltwater tank in the future. Right now we are just getting info. We have a betta tank with a java fern and snail and will be inheriting a 30 gallon hex tank that we plan to put a tropical freshwater community in. Both of us have experience with the freshwater tank set up.

5 gal. Betta tank with one Crowntail Red/Blue/White named Freddy, 1 Black Mystery Snail named Esmerelda, and a Java Fern.

I wasn't allowed to have any other pets as a kid.

I haven't tried breeding, kinda scared I'll mess it up/and the expense is more than I can handle at the moment.

Why I like fish::

They each have their own distinct personalities, just like a person does. It's very easy for me to start watching a fish and find that I've been sitting there staring at it for a half an hour, lol.

Best advice:

Get all the information you can before you start your aquarium so that you don't make typical beginner mistakes....it will save a lot of time and heartache.
