How I got started with aquariums.:
Five gallon kit from Walmart in 2001. Fish in cycle. I heard this thing about saving the plastic structure in the used foam/charcoal filter to put in the replacement filter. Something about beneficial bacteria. That was all I knew about it. Seemed to work fine.
