A long time ago i had a 10 gallon tropical tank. I was not that interested. I ended up getting a fantail goldfish. He got too big for the tank i put him in 20 gallon. I got more fish and that was too small. I have 5 gallon now and i have a few koi from outside in it. I am building a big pond for them. My fantail goldfish died recently. He was my favorite fish.
My black koi. It used to be my fantail goldfish until he died :'(
Why I like fish::

NO FISH IN BOWLS
a 15 year border collie
When you have a 12-inch bowl and a fish that gets up to 15 inches, it's obviously not going to fit.
I had about 10 minnows into my ranchu tank. The water got very cloudy so i did a water change. Even though the water had not looked cloudy for a long time, the minnows looked like they had been in there dead for a very long time. I do not know why they died, but i would like to find out. I tried treating my fish with tetracycline, triple
A lot of people will tell you that goldfish only have a 3 second memory. This is simply not true. If you think about it a goldfish would hardly be able to swim with just a 3 second memory. It has been scientifically proven that goldfish do not have a 3 second memory. Goldfish have been trained to do tricks, recognize their owners and more! Still, when i ask someone, most of the time they say that goldfish do have a 3 second memory. I just want to let everyone know that this is a myth.
For the average joe this may sound ridiculous. For most of you it probably won't. A lot of people think that goldfish are great starter pets. That is wrong. I am not trying to turn people away from the hobby, but i am trying educate them. When you have a 12-inch bowl and a fish that gets up to 15 inches, it's obviously not going to fit. People need to think about the long term health of their fish. The oldest goldfish lived to be over 40. Bowls suffocate goldfish, stunt their growth and
