Cut back to feeding every other day, most tropical fish don't need to eat every day. Any leftover food needs to be removed from the tank water.

A cycled tank will have 0 ammonia, 0 nitrItes, and some nitrAtes. Just running a tank for a few weeks won't cycle it, cycling is a process that...

Why I like fish::: They don't give you sass-back....they float and move so gracefully. I like spying into another world. its soothing...

Best advice:: Read, research, read, ask questions here (folks are SO friendly and helpful) then research some more before you even get a tank...its all for the good of your fish friends lives...
