How I got started with aquariums.:
Neighbor kid had one, and we were super competitive, and I thought I could have a better aquarium than he could. Thankfully, AC helped me win that competition and spurred a love for aquariums.
Best advice:
Over filter, under stock, and keep to an aggressive maintenance schedule.
